Our ministers are excited about serving at Allen Chapel and our neighbors. Each have been trained by our denomination and invested time in Bible Schools and Seminaries. As equippers of the Body of Christ, our clergy seeks to grow and develop Allen Chapel members as well as share the Gospel with our neigbors.

Rev. Lorraine Canaday
Lead Minister and Bereavement Ministry
Rev. Canaday, ordained in 1994 as an Itinerant Deacon, she is excited about ministering to those who need to hear and learn we have the victory in Jesus Christ. It is my desire to assist victims of abuse and domestic violence move from victim mentality to victor mentality. [More]
Rev. Yvonne Arnold
Pastoral Counselor
Rev. Arnold, a local elder, is an anointed to minister to souls who hurt. She holds three Master degrees that include: Curriculum & Instruction, Secondary Counseling, and Marriage & Family Therapy, and pursuing certification as a Christian Life Coach. Her passions are singing, working with young people, and counseling. [More]
Rev. Marianne Williams
Children and youth ministry
Reverend Williams, ordained in 2015 as an Itinerant Deacon, serves as San Francisco/Sacramento District Christian Education Director. She is passionate about Children and Youth ministry. Professionally, she is employed as an Elementary Principal in the Sacramento Area.
Eric O. Cole
Licentiate
Eric Cole, a 30 year AME member, has been with Allen Chapel AME Sacramento since 2008. He is in on track to become an Itinerant Deacon. As a student of the Bible, brother Cole enjoys learning about God’s Kingdom and Salvation. Eric loves talking to others, relaxing, joking around, and playing chess.
Rev. Edwina Minor
Children and Youth Ministry
Rev. Minor answered God's call to ministry in 2001. She was ordained a Local Deacon in 2006 and Local Elder 2015. She has a AA Degree Child Development and a BS Degree in Human Services. Minor loves God and God's people.
Rev. Threather Ward
Sick and Shut-in Ministry
Reverend Ward, an Itinerant preacher, is very active in her visitation ministry throughout various Sacramento hospitals. She sends out cards, personalized with stickers, notes and bible quotes, to Allen Chapel's sick and shut-as well as to those the Holy Spirit leads her to send. These cards are unique and uplifting.
Sheila Roundtree

Sheila accepted her call as Evangelist in December 2016. God's calling on Sheila life has been a blessing to her, as her love for God’s people to go out and tell someone that Jesus loves them and that Jesus died and rose again just so that we are made free to the gift of salvation. [More]
