What are AMEC Church Stewards?
Stewards are spiritual lay leaders of the church. They are nominated by the Pastor of the church annually and if the members of the Quarterly Conference find the persons nominated are of solid piety, know and love the Word of God, and the African Methodist Episcopal Church’s Doctrine and Discipline, they shall confirm them.
The Stewards are responsible for the spiritual, financial, advisory and functionary aspects of the church and are to address the concerns of the sick and the poor in our community. It is our desire to help the church and community grow closer to God and be spiritually enriched. We pray that everyone finds warmth and happiness in this Christian walk
