aLLEN cHAPEL sTEWARDS

Stewards are responsible for the spiritual care and temporal business of the church.  The Pastor appoints Stewards, then they are affirmed by the quarterly conference which also they are accountable.   The stewards collect and account for all moneys in the church.  They are also responsible for negotiating the Pastor's salary and housing, the financial concerns of the church, and benevolence for the poor. 

They are also responsible for managing and tracking the membership of the church and certifying the membership role and making proper report at the Annual Conference before the Bishop.

They are subject to the Bishops, Elders, Deacons, and Traveling Ministers.
